The mission of the Exotic Wildlife Association is to develop and expand non-native wildlife breeding throughout the United States. Including articulating the need for sustainable utilization, educating property owners, legislators & the media, and providing support to its member ranch owners & guides.

The EWA's "Trophy Game Records of the World" record book has been publishing the best of the best in Whitetail and Exotic species for decades. White Point Ranch holds dozens of entries, most being diamond and gold level entries. Their "Big Buck Contest" is an annual contest with a handful of categories that include youth hunters, safari hunters, handicapped hunters among others.

Some awards White Point Ranch holds within the EWA world record book:
  • Numerous Axis handgun records including two silver axis in 2005
  • The top modern arms whitetail of 2005, winning the Big Buck Contest. The winning deer is pictured here.
  • The top youth spike & top youth handgun buck, both pictured at right.
  • The top axis of 2004, scoring at #8 all-time
  • Numerous gold level axis
  • Dozens of gold level whitetail deer
  • 1 of only 7 Gold level Scimitar Horned Oryx taken with a handgun all-time.
  • Top Oryx of 2004

White Point Ranch founder, the late W.F. Lea has been honored numerous times for his contribution to preservation of species, development of youth hunting and propagation of responsible, fair chase exotic hunts and his generosity, by countless state and national groups.
